UMBRELLA CORPORATION EXCUTIVE BOARD FOR PARAMILITARY AND SPECIAL OPERATIONS DIVISION; ORDERS: SEEK AND DESTROY COMMANDING OFFICER: JESSEE ' REAPER' PURVIS GARRISON 0112 OUTPOST 27 SOUTH EAST REGION hello and welcome to Umbrella Corporation south east outpost, to all new recruits this is a formal statement from your commanding officer. this is a cosplay group i founded a year ago for anyone who wants to cosplay as resident evil characters and umbrella corp. soldiers. this does not limit the fact that anyone can join, we havent been around long but we want to set the mood of professionalism when at conventions making it feel as if we are tested and true professional soldiers meaning that once you don the uniform you are that character me being the commanding officer i don the skill of a commander, this doesnt mean we cant have fun, i am a 6 year cosplay veteran with multiple different cosplay under my belt aswell as conventions, your costume doesnt have to look as well crafted as a movie replica but it does have to look like you put some time into it, i'm wishing and hoping to get this off the ground so that any R.E. cosplayer or zombie cosplayer can have a place to come to and be around like minded people. it is free to join, any one is welcome to join no matter how old or young, we hit dragoncon every year, we are currently 20 strong not many for a cosplay group but im hoping to have more and possibly seed other outposts, you can claim any rank you want aslong as its below general (no such thing in umbrella corporation), now we have three classifications for you character and costume. 1. Special forces/assualt 2. Mercenaries/snipers 3.scouts/communications you can choose to be in which ever of these three that suits you best, they will also effect the costume that you will have to make, number 1 class is the most heavily fortified and most custom made, ( i also make components for these types of costumes) number two is lighter long range with different skills meaning customizable number three is light gear and more mobile so you dont have to carry a ton of gear. please post yoyour costume pictures when ever you can, also you will be able to meet new friends and people who dont look down on cosplaying.
